Fine Art Online Photography Workshop

AIM OF THE COURSE:

Learn how to create stunning fine art B&W images in Camera Raw or Lightroom, Photoshop and Silver Effex Pro, utilising a range of professional processing techniques. You will be shown how to develop a comprehensive and flexible fine art processing workflow, that you can refine and personalise. This online course is designed for individuals who have an intermediate knowledge of photoshop and who wish to develop their post-processing skills further into the area of fine-art image processing.

The course provides creative insight into what constitutes a fine art B&W image. This will include an understanding of creative interpretation, photographic shoot pre-visualisation and optimising image exposure in advance of post-processing.

You will learn the key processing techniques in a logical, structured and easy to understand format. Both theory and practice will be included, ensuring that you are not simply learning the keystrokes and interface skills by rote. You will be encouraged to adopt these skills as second nature so that your creative interpretation remains uppermost at all times during your post-processing workflow.

For each of these core techniques within the workflow, various alternative techniques will be demonstrated, providing the flexibility you will need, to tailor your workflow to the characteristics of the image.

During the workshop, you will work on one of your own chosen images and will be taken through each of the fine art processing techniques in turn. You will leave the workshop with a comprehensive understanding of the skills required to create professional-quality fine art black and white images.
