A Creative Philosophy for Fine Art Photography
We all look to find new ways to spark our creativity. Imagining and creating great imagery requires a constant creative hunger and motivation to search for new approaches in how to envision, capture and process photographic images. Over the past 20 years, the nature of photography has been transformed beyond recognition. Rather than being diluted by digital, it has grown exponentially. Opportunities to express unique visual perspectives are now more diverse and wide-ranging than ever before. Photography remains neither solely an art nor a science. Never so much as now. Whilst you still have to fully appreciate and master the technical aspects of your craft, without an appreciation of the nature of light, composition, and the elements of an image that engage a viewer, you are unlikely to create inspiring images.
The beauty of photography has always been its ability to enthrall us emotionally. With the right skills, expertise and passion for photography, you can capture the imagination of others.
